V is for Vision

Vision is from weelittlestitches’ superhero alphabet sampler.

I was only recently introduced to Vision through the Marvel cinematic universe, specifically the film Avengers: Age of Ultron.

So I researched him, learning that there are actually multiple superheroes who share the title of VisionĀ in the Marvel universe. The first Vision was simply an alien – an alien from an alternate dimension.

The second Vision is the one portrayed in the 2015 film Avengers: Age of Ultron, and he is the Vision that I want to say most people envision as the Vision. He is an android and a member of the Avengers – he was created by Ultron to use against his creator, Dr. Hank Pym.

The Vision is every bit like a human being, but he is constructed of synthetic materials. He has superhuman agility, intelligence, strength, and stability. He has the power of flight, shapeshifting, density control, mass manipulation, intangibility, and solar energy projection.

The third Vision is the time traveler previously known as Iron Lad, who is fused with the operating system of the second Vision.

He appears in The Avengers: Earth Mightiest’s Heroes cartoon. Vision will appear in the upcoming third season of Avengers Assemble. The first Vision appears in the direct-to-video movie Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow.

V is for Vixen

Vixen is from fangirl stitches’ girl power superhero comic book alphabet.

Vixen is a badass! She totally put a dent in my lil shipper heart as a little girl watching Justice League Unlimited, but she was awesome every time she was on the Cartoon Network animated series.

Her powers are SUPER sweet! Her primarily ability is to mimic the abilities of any animal that has ever lived on Earth, and she possesses a healing factor. She can fly like an eagle; she can use the strength of an elephant; she can run like a cheetah. She can wall-crawl like a spider, and she can regenerate like a lizard.

Vixen wears a mystical artifact called the Tantu Totem, a fox-head shaped talisman given to her ancestors by the African trickster god Anansi. Having ties to African folklore, Vixen is even more awesome! She’s definitely a favorite of mine.

Vixen appears numerous times in Justice League Unlimited, and she appears in Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

Vixen stars in the web series Vixen on the CW SEED, and subsequently appears in the episode “Taken” of the current season of Arrow.
